The name of this application was DB2 Syntax Assistant , but as we know, DB2 is a trade mark of IBM , and we did not want to have legal problems by using that name.
So, we decided to put a different name, something related with Colombia, and this is the reason the project was renamed to Zemucan .
But, why Colombia? the reason is the idea of this project was proposed by a Colombian guy, and following the same logic, the name of that idea has to be something representing Colombia.
The logo is the tab key, which is the most used key in this application. Each time this key is pressed, the assistant is called, and then the help is provided to the user.
The green color refers to the green color used for the IBM's division, Information Management.
In order to call the application when it is used from the console, it is necessary to tape two keys: sa . These two keys are together in a QWERTY keyboard, so that aids to call the application very fast. In an AZERTY keyboard (For French people), the position of the keys are also close making the same effect. In Dvorak is still better and faster, because the keys are in the middle row in the opposite sides. In a Bepo keyboard, the s and a keys are far enough in order to be typed fastly. It is better to tape with both hands in order to tape more faster.
